Recently we became aware of the existence of a wonderful shadow box that is in the possession of the National Military Heritage Museum in St. Joseph. It was found in a storage locker in the Kansas City area. Can you help identify him? He obviously served his country well and his family deserves to have his medals returned to their care.

What family history researcher doesn't love to come across a great old picture? And we turn them over, our hearts skipping a beat, hoping . . . just hoping . . . that somebody took the time to write a name on the back. And when we find one, how wonderfully grateful we are to whatever unknown hand that took the time to record the information. A date too? Oh my, we are blessed!
Below are some pictures that we've run across in the Library. Some are labeled and some are not. We've also included those that have been shared with us from other members. If you would like to share your great old pictures, or if you can identify some of the "unknowns", please let us know! We'd love to hear from you.
