Sollars, Marvin Allen - d. 2008

Marvin Sollars passed away at a St Joseph Nursing Home March 8, 2008.

Mr Sollars was a graduate of Lafayette High School and the Rolla MO State Patrol School. He was a member of the St Joseph police department retiring as Corporal in 1981. Marvin was a devoted member of Woodson Chapel Christian Church serving as a board member & elder emeritus. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the American Legion Post #359. Marvin enjoyed fishing, spending 4th of July's at the family cabin at Lake Contrary and was an avid fan of the Cardinals.

Marvin is survivied by his wife Billie Sue (Winemiller) Sollars, daughters Saresa (Rob) Shepard, Susie Sollars, sons Gregg (Penny) Sollars, Darrin (Amanda) Sollars.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana, and his parents Jennie & Clarence Sollars Sr.  Interment at Mt Mora Cemetery, St Joseph MO.
